Drugs ended careers of many successful professionals. Drugs are like a curse on anyone’s career. They may seem satisfying or useful for the moment. But in the long run, they destroy you as they destroyed many celebrities’ and professionals’ lives. Have a look.
Michael Jackson:
The great Pop singing legend gave his life to drugs abuse. “The drugs that the ‘legend’ took at the time of his death were highly unusual and potentially dangerous”, a leading pharmacist David Pruce quotes. Jacko was taking a combination of anti-depressants, anxiety pills and painkillers but was overdosing it. The combination left him unresponsive and numb for hours. He was taking morphine-related painkiller that caused breathing problems and made him drowsy, difficult to wake. Here is a list of his daily intakes (as per Dailymail):

Bruno Mars:
Singer of famous song “Grenade”, Bruno Mars was also caught inhaling ‘cocaine’ in a hotel in Las Vegas. He was arrested in charge of using and possessing drugs for the very first time and also it was his first time trying drugs (according to TMZ).Bruno has apologized to his fans and made it clear that he won’t be using it again as he is aware that people are watching. Well Bruno, you are young and talented. Don’t waste your life on drugs. Of course if you use drugs, “we wouldn’t do the same”.
Andre Agassi:
Andre Agassi, 8 Grand slams winner is an American tennis player. He added grace to the game and was considered the most graceful player. His story of drugs is quite interesting. He himself admitted that he had been using ‘Crystal Methamphetamine’. Agassi wrote a book about his life and career. Here is an excerpt from his book, Slim is his assistant:

The famous legend of football ‘Diego Maradona’ from Argentina is also accused of using drugs in his career. Maradona is famous for his speed and control on the pitch and also for his goal against England which he scored using his hand, LOL. The goal was named ‘The Hand of God’. Despite his successful career, he could not resist the curse of drugs. The captain’s cap was taken off and he was expelled from the team because of positive drugs test. He was accused of using ‘Cocaine’ in 1991 and ‘Ephedrine’ in 1994.
Robert Downey Jr:
Yes, the famous Iron Man and the man who incredibly performed the character of ‘Sherlock Holmes’ has been involved in drugs. Sadly, Robert got this habit of drugs from his father at the age of 8. His father allowed him to take ‘marijuana’ and this is where he became a druggie. Robert was frequently arrested and wasted 5 years of his life in rehabs and jails.
Chris Benoit:
The professional wrestler from WWE, Chris Benoit have a sad story. He is accused of using a drug called ‘Nandrolone (Deca-durabolin)’. For whatever reasons he used that drug, it had negative effects on him. The athletic use of this drug is to grow muscles and assist in physical recovery. But its negative effects are far worse. It can result in Cardiovascular damage, sexual dysfunction, liver damage, acne, sterility, baldness and enlarged prostate. In June 2007, he killed his wife and his son and after killing them, he hanged himself and committed suicide.
Michael Phelps:
America’s best athlete, Michael Phelps has made a record by winning 8 Gold medals in Beijing Olympics Games. He is the fastest swimmer in the world and has turned himself into a 100million dollars superstar. But his career won’t last long if he continued his ‘dark’ activities. He was seen drinking ‘marijuana’ through a glass pipe known as Bong in the public. Phelps have never failed a drug test before. He is 23 years old and should focus on his career as he has a way to go!
Arnold Schwarzenegger:
The Terminator, the governor of California and ‘the best bi-cep’, ARNOLD! has been using marijuana as he admitted. He also has admitted to using performance-enhancing anabolic steroids. He said he used them for maintaining his muscle-growth as he was a professional bodybuilder. There are many videos and photos of him smoking and inhaling drugs on the internet.
Lindsay Lohan :
Lindsay Lohan, I do not know what she is famous for. I’ve never seen her in any movie and I do not even consider her a celebrity but people do. She is a famous druggie, has been to jail many times, hit roadside while driving drunk and many other cases she has got on her shoulders. Recently there were pictures of her floating on the internet in which she was seen using a syringe to inject heroine into her arm. She has failed two drug test- One was for cocaine and the other was for Adderall. Her pictures were leaked hours after she came home from the jail.
Paris Hilton:
Another name which I do not know what she is famous for. She was caught with .8 grams cocaine in her purse. She claimed that it was not her purse and she borrowed it by her friend. When the cop questioned her about the cocaine she said she had not seen it and had thought it was gum. Haha, does cocaine really look like gum? Strange.
